whats your current height and weight, and i guess unless you lose some weight around your waist line, or bring some changes in your BMI , your pain may not subside.

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpaul's  Response
i agree with Dr. vinay and feel that are bit overweight and you should try to reduce your weight, for this i would suggest a medicine free trial if it works well and good otherwise medicine can be planned. have only and only meals and nothing but meals withlot of water and regular exercise, after a month see if weight starts coming down.
regarding pain , as i am Ayurvedic Dr. so i am suggesting Ayurvedic options:
1. donot over exert
2. locally you can apply pyroflex gel { solumiks}
3. have tab. triodasahng guggul and tab punarnava guggul 1 tds with hot water
internally.
4. before going to bed apply hot fomentation with steam of dashmool and babuna.
add above herbs in water and boil it when steam forms keep towel over it and when it becomes bearable hot start fomentation with it and place the second towel over steam for same purpose change the towel when it becomes cold. Do it for half an hour.Report after 15 days.
