The symptoms you experienced may be due to cervical spondylosis, a condition involving the vertebrae of the cervical or neck area where there is pressure on the nerves causes a radiating type of pain and numbness. It can also be a Transient Ischemic Attack in which there is deficient blood supply to the brain for a small amount of time. You need to have a cardiological work up including ECG, neurological evaluation and perhaps an X ray of the cervical area to start with. If all is normal, you can wait and watch. However, prompt evaluation is needed if symptoms return.
