Experiencing Vision Problem In Left Eye, Episode Of Numbness All Over Hand. What Is The Cause?
Today whilst at work I have noticed that i was experiencing some minor problem with the vision in my left eye, and felt somewhat light headed. I have then had an episode whereby my left hand went numb for a few minutes this numbness was all over my hand all my fingers, thumb and palm of my hand, is this a cause for concern I suspect it may be stress related
The symptoms you experienced may be due to cervical spondylosis, a condition involving the vertebrae of the cervical or neck area where there is pressure on the nerves causes a radiating type of pain and numbness. It can also be a Transient Ischemic Attack in which there is deficient blood supply to the brain for a small amount of time. You need to have a cardiological work up including ECG, neurological evaluation and perhaps an X ray of the cervical area to start with. If all is normal, you can wait and watch. However, prompt evaluation is needed if symptoms return.
