Does Weed Use Before Knee Surgery Cause Complications?

Hello Im getting knee surgery as soon as possible. I smoke weed and I am around it daily. I believe the soonest they can get me in is in a week. I am planning to not smoke weed till I get surgery, but i'm wondering if it will have any affect. Im underaged and I don't want my parents to find out.

Yes, weed could effect in anesthesia. Weed could stay in body for more than month due to its fat soluble tendency and this could lead more respiratory depression at time of operation. It could be better to avoid it before surgery.
