Does Minigynon Helps To Regulate Periods And Conceive?
I was prescribed minigynon 30 to bring back my period because I didn t see it for four months.... the pills worked.. now I have an extremely irregular period and i m having a hard time getting pregnant... will taking the pills again regulate my period and make it easier for me to get pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. Having irregular periods is a sign of lack of ovulation. Birth control pills can give regular cycles, but these cycles are not natural & also an-ovulatory. So, even if you get regular cycles while on pill, it usually returns back to its original pattern once you stop taking the pill. For a pregnancy, ovulation is a must. So, in women who are trying for a baby ovulation induction is the preferred option if they don't ovulate naturally, rather than period regulation. Please consult a fertility specialist for a more specific advice. Best wishes.
