Hello! Lupron is a sexual hormone analogue (luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) which is used in hormone responsive cancers such as prostate cancer. Regarding the side effects hot flashes are caused in over half the patient that use this drug. Other common side effects are increased sweating especially at night, cardiovascular disorders, fatigue, swelling (edemas), stomach pain, pain in extremities, gynecomastia (breasts swelling), testicular atrophy, headache, bone pain, anemia etc. As you see all the symptoms and complaints you describe mey be side effects of the drug. If there is any major problem that interfers with his health or his well-being he should see his doctor.
