Does Epson Salt Help To Relieve Muscle Strain And Shin Splints ?
Age: 19 170 lbs Month of muscle strain and shin splints . Last physical normal. I tend to drag my feet and twist my knee when I walk. 5 days ago, I noticed that behind my knee was slightly swollen. I also started an exercise routine yesterday. Behind my knee is slightly swollen still, and my knee, top part of my shin, and thigh hurt. I am going to my general practitioner soon but how can I relieve the pain? Will Epson salt help?

Go for some cold application on it.Apply any local spray or gentle massage of gel.
Wear knee cap,Take any routine pain killer like acetaminophen, ibuprofen with milk.
Go for X-ray than consult your physician.
hi , welcome to HCM
you should not exert yourself more so that it does'nt get worse ,take rest for few days
at the same time consult your family physician . he will examine you & investigate you if required.
till then you can use local spray for relief & wear a knee cap to support your knee joint, take home medication if you got any routine pain killers with you.
consult doctor as soon as possible
take care
