Does Tourettes Syndrome Have Any Alternative Treatment?
I am 16 years old, 6 1 heigth and I have tourettes syndrome. the medication i am taking to help with it is Abilify. Now i am wanting to join the NavySEALS, but the military will not let you join if you are on medication. I have been taking this medication for 3+ years. I don t know if i should come off of the medication or if there are different things i can try to help my tourettes without pills.

Besides medicaments, Tourette's syndrome is treated successfully with deep brain stimulation in selected cases. I think that you should discuss with an experienced Neurosurgeon for this problem.
