Does Kalms Reduce The Effectiveness Of Cotraceptive Pill?

I m on the contraceptive pill; Microgynon 30 and I m a week away from my drivers test. My instructor recommended Kalms. I was wondering whether they would affect the pill and prevent it from working? The packet says it s a natural plant remedy but I m cautious none the less

Hi,

The effectiveness of contraceptive pill is unlikely to be affected by Kalms medicine. No invasive studies have been done in the past regarding the interactions of both the drug. I would suggest you to take both the drugs the at two different times of the day with 4 to 5 hours gap in order to prevent any possible interactions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
