Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your cousin's symptoms.

I have noted that he is suffering from epilepsy and is on eptoin (phenytoin) and frisium (clobazam).

Eptoin and frisium are very good and effective anti-epileptic medications.

Anti-epileptic medications should be used for at least three seizure-free years.

The duration of use of anti-epileptic medications also depends on MRI brain and electroencephalography (EEG) findings. If possible, please upload the reports.

Eptoin is reasonably safe. it may cause dizziness, drowsiness and imbalance while walking. in long-term use, it may cause thickening of gums.

Frisium is also safe, however, it may cause sleepiness.

If you notice any side effects, please consult his neurologist.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
