Hello
Welcome to healthcaremagic

ESR stands for erythrocyte sedimentation rate. It is non specific marker which can increase in so many invective , inflammatory and cancers. But it is too non specific to diagnose any condition be it HIV or cancer.
Although ESR can increase in HIV it is very non specific so you can't make diagnosis by this test.It is better to go for specific HIV tests if you have doubt.
Same thing holds true for cancer. So you need not worry.
