Discomfort In Urinary Tract After Hysterectomy. Normal?

Hi I had my hysterectomy three years ago and have had a whole new lease of life since the operation - however I am having some problems with sensation from my urinary tract - it is not the same as it was - no infections or anything like that - my GP says its in my head but I don't think so - just a bit concerned that things aren't what they should be - is it usual to lose some sensation i.e. the sense of urgency when you need to urinate - would be glad of your advice. Many thanks

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having Cystocele problem as it is likely that after hysterectomy supporting muscles might have laxity and due to poor support to bladder.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
Meanwhile do pelvic floor exercise.
Ok and take care.
