Diagnosed Keratoconus, Suggested C3R Operation, Cant Increase Vision But Can Strengthen Corenea . Treatment?
im 22years old recently completed my graduation and planning for masters in overseas before that casually i went to maxvision for my eye checkup their i came to know that im suffering with eye problem keratoconus and doctor suggested me progression in left eye is high so immediately i should take C3R operation ,doctor also concluded that vision cant be increased but it can be arrested with increase in future by strengthing ur cornea..........
and the doctor also declared ill be failure in medical test in visa regarding left eye ,is their any possibility of curing in "homeo" ?
please suggest me

In keratoconus there are structural changes within the cornea which makes it thin and change to a more conical shape than its normal gradual curve.Keratoconus needs a surgical correction (by an ophthalmologist) like corneal collagen crosslinking with riboflavin.This cannot be cured with homeo.Hope I have answered your question.

Keratoconus is a degenerative disease of the cornea characterized by thinning of the cornea resulting in myopia or irregular myopic astigmatism.
The treatment options are spectacles, contact lenses and Intracorneal ring segmetns for improvement in vision. C3R or corneal collagen crosslinking with riboflavin is done to increase corneal thickness.
