Delayed Periods, Pressure In The Lower Abdomen, Pain In The Back. Pinkish Discharge. Concerned

Im 24 years of age and This months period came on three days late. while it was on my flow would stop and come back on throughout the 3-4 days it normally stays on. Also during this time my back would hurt and a on and off pressure my lower abdomen. Just last night i felt a sharp pain in my back where i received my epidural for my first child. But now that its of I have a light pink discharge and the pressure in my lower abdominal is there.

Hello,

Your history is suggestive of Pelvic inflammatory disease.
There may be infection in your uterus.
Backache and lower abdominal pain is classically associated with PID.
Change in the colour menstrual blood is also in favour of PID.
Maintain good Perineal hygiene. Recurrence is very common.
A course of antibiotic should taken to eliminate the infection.
