Can Pamsvax XL Cause Groin And Back Pain?

hi have bladder problem GP put us on 28 day trial on contiflo XL this was very helpfull so he suggested that i continue on this treatment but chemist switched medication to an alternative type pamsvax XL which is giving me groin pains and backache advise pls Age 79 weight 14 stone height 5 10 marginal high BP on lerpandine

Contiflo XL contains tamsulosin hydrochloride that belongs to the group of medications known as selective alpha 1 adrenergic antagonist is used to decrease the tension of prostatic smooth muscle and make urine to pass easily. For that reason, it is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH and BPH associated complications. On the other hand, Pamsvax XL also contains tamsulosin hydrochloride and same in mechanism of action as well as uses like Contiflo XL.

There are just different in trade name that means two different companies make them. Side effects of tamsulosin hydrochloride like Contiflo or Pamsvax XL are groin pain, back pain, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, sore throat, ejaculation problems, syncope, sore throat, runny nose, orthostatic hypotension, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor first for medical attention.
