Dark Blackish Spot On Roof Of Mouth On Falling. Gets Cold Or Fever. Why It Is Happening?

Hi,

Every Fall my husband gets a dark blackish spot on the roof of his mouth. This has been happening his entire life (he is 42). When he sees it he knows he will be getting sick (usually a slight cold or fever which lasts 2 days). His mouth DOES feel itchy and he usually has symptoms of a cold (sneezing itchy throat). Then after a few days the spot falls off snd he's fine.

What could this be?

I look forward to your response.
Thank you,
Meri

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

A physical examination is required to identify what that dark spot is. It may not be possible to make a comment on that spot with out a physical examination.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
