Could The Pain In The Upper Abdomen Be Due To The Hiatal Hernia?

I was diagnosed with a hiatel hernia a few months ago. I am unable to eat or drink anything for two now, I am in pain in my upper right quadrant, when I sleep my diaphragm is spasming when i lay on my side and i am having some trouble breathing. Does this mean that my hernia has gotten worse?

Your symptoms seem to be related to hiatal hernia.
I suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation.
Meanwhile,I suggest using antacids to relieve the symptoms.
