Could Fibroids And Uterus Problems Have Caused The Abortion?

My name is NITHYA. My age is now 27. I got married on July 2009 and i got pregnant on Sep 2009 on 4th month doctors said that my uterus mouth was open and also there are multiple fibroids located in the wall of the uterus and on dec 24th 2009 they put cervical cerclage and on jan 7th 2010 i got abortioned. The doctors not able to know the exact reason. Can you please tell me due to what reason my abortion may have happened?

Understand your concern
In your case two reason of abortion:
Fibroid: if fibroid is to big or it is submucosal thre may be high chance of abortion
Uterus problem: open mouth of uterus mainly due to cervical incompetence that lead to abortion.
So I think it is due to uterine problem as abortion occur in 2nd trimester.
But exact reason can not be find out.
Some time fibroid can cause open uterine mouth
First you take the treatment of fibroid (surgical removal) and get pregnant.
If again abortion take place you have to take treatment for uterine anomaly by surgical process (placing suture above the cervical opening narrow the cervical opening. Hope this may help you
