Continuous Bleeding For 2 Weeks, Nausea, Tiredness. History Of Taking Cerazette For Regulating Periods. Time To Flush Out Pill From System?

Im 48 and started taking cerazette 6 wks ago to regulate my periods. My period started at 26 days but i havnt stopped bleeding for 16 days. I have been feeling nauseous and tearfull and after reading reviews i stopped taking it 6 days ago. The bleeding still asnt stopped it is bright red and im feeling drained. Wish i hadnt started taking cerazette as i dont need contraception. How long will this bleeding last and how long before this pill gets out of my system? Thanks

Hi Dear,
Dont be afraid.
Cerazette is known to cause irregular bleeding but you should not simply wait for the effect of drug to finish and suffer from heavy bleeding.
You can consult your gynae. A wide variety of medicines are available to control your ongoing bleeding.
Also you are 48 yrs and during this time irregular bleeding is very common as you may be approaching your menopause.
No need to take medicines to regularize your period and that to without consultation.
