Concerned About Pregnancy, Disturbed Sleep. Had Unprotected Intercourse. Worried

i had an unprotected sex only once and it happened may 15.my last period started may 5-9.ive been tracking down my cycle for 3months and it has been consistently a 30days cycle with a period lasting 5 days.my concern is with that unprotctd sex i had and i cant sleep well since then.do i have the possibility of getting pregnant?what should i take in order to make sure that i will have my period nextmonth.im not ready for a baby yet.please help

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

Unprotected sex during 10-22 days of last menses have increased chances of pregnancy counting from 1st day of menses. In your case it is 10th day. So there are possibility of getting pregnant, although very rare, out of unprotected sex.

Do not get stress out of this as you can not do anything now. You should wait for your regular menses. If it is delayed for 5 days, you should do urine pregnancy test or may consult gynecologist.

Avoid unprotected sex if you don wish to have pregnancy.
