Child Taking Lobazam For Seizures. Suffers From Cortical Displasia On The Parietal Lobe. Is It A Safe Medication For Kids?

Hello there, this is regarding the tab. Lobazam which my 9.5 yr old daughter is taking for almost 1.5 months and her seizures have disappeared. She suffers from cortical displasia on her left paraital lobe as described by her neurologist by MRI readings.
My question - is lobazam safe for the growth and development of my child. Also she is diagnosed with ADD/ADHD by psychologist and her IQ is 79 which is poor.

Dear user,

Yes, clobazam is a safe add-on drug for treatment of the disorders that your child is suffering from. In fact, many doctors are now using this as a stand-alone therapy for many different kinds of fits. It may cause some sedation, but is unlikely to cause gross problems with his attention deficit or hyperactivity problems.
