Child. Sudden Fits Attacks. MRI Reports, Ct Scan, EEG, ECG Normal. Prescribed Fits Medication. Reason?

doctor my child is 3 yrs old. she was brushing in bathroom, she suddenly saw something and had fitz. then i took her to hopital. the doctor said me to take CT scan . In CT Scan the dr said every thing is normal. and dr said let she be there in hospital for obsevation. for two days. she was there for two days. they discharged . then when we came back home near my house there was a temple function going on.they had fireworks. in that fireworks while she was watching she suddenly had fitz. then went and admitted in hosp. the next day took MRI the reports say she is normal,EEG,ECG, normal. now doctors say to continue fitz medicine why? her reports r normal?

Hi,

Some times the cause of seizures cannot be found out despite many investigations.

Now since your child had further seizures those antiepileptic medications should be continued.

Do not stop those medications without doctors advise. It may lead to further episodes of seizures.

Is your kid developmentally normal?
