Hi.. There are genes responible for cancer cells in all the individuals.. They are kept suppressed by means of an opposite tumor suppressor genes.. In the presence of favorable factors which includes exposure to risk factors, these suppressor genes can get suppressed and the genes responsible for cancer get expressed.
