Can Very Low Levels Of Calcium Affect Baby During Pregnancy?

hello, i am hypocalcemic due to removal of parathyroid glands. normally my level is controlled very well. i am 26 weeks pregnant and for the last week have been waking to very low levels of calcium. i am able to get it up using calci-chew tablets but am worried about it affecting my baby?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Low levels of calcium due to removal of thyroid hormone do not have any adverse effects on the fetus.
You should take the calcium supplementation in the form of tablets.
