Can Ultrasound During Pregnancy Cause Any Harm To The Baby?
Hello Doctor, My daughter-in-law is pregnant now. The gynecologist we consulted prescribed ultra sound scan and the report says the baby is 6 weeks old. People tell me not to send her for more ultra sound scans as the rays would be harmful to the baby. I would like to know if it is true.

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given hare actually ultrasound wave is not harmful for the baby in the womb it only create the temperature gradient across the tissue and this could some time may harm the tissue (No data is available which could prove this ) but over all this is not harmful if perfume in few times, hope this information helps you have a nice a day.
