Can Steroid injection under the skin surface,Topical corticosteroids or Ultraviolet light therapy help with Alopecia universalis? I red an answer here that there is no treatment, but somewhere else I read about these 3 things. So I just want to know if these are things that I should try? Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic forum
These thing can be tried. A trichologist is to be seen in that case. But this is no definitive treatment , only a trial. You can also see a homoeopath, as homoeopathy is helpful in many autoimmune illess like this one.
takecare.
Dermatologist Dr. Nitin Walia's  Response
NO.The area involved is too big for intralesional tricort. There are treatments- but results are forthcoming with persistence, safety margins and utmost care. Please do not self-treat.You would definoitely do more harm than good. Please go only to a qualified dermatologist for your condition. Also please remember- an allopath is only good for allopathic medicine and so is a homeopath for homeopathy, a unani for unani and so forth.Dont mix them up-for we are not trained or qualified to practice the other-morally, ethically and legally speaking. If you cant access a good dermatologist or afford them-simply use a wig and false eyebrows.
