Can Pregnancy Still Happen After Taking I Pill?

hi doctor,
i have a query.
me and my gf had sex on two days 23rd and 25th regularly and on 26th i gave her ipill and unfortunately we had sex on 26th also and i gave her 1 more ipill on 27th.
so is there any chances of getting pregnant of her?
As she didnt got her dates also.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
To get effective protection emergency contraceptive pill should be used within 72 hours of the intercourse.
So, if you have given emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of first act of intercourse, there is possibility of protection from pregnancy.
The pill can give protection for 24 hours after intake.
Repeated intake of emergency contraceptive pills can lead to menstrual irregularities.
There should be at least 2 months gap between two emergency contraceptive pills.

Let her wait one more week. If she doesn't get periods even after one week, better to go for pregnancy test once.
