Can Placenta With Blood Clotting Cause Any Problems In The Baby?

My daughter just delivered a little boy delivered at almost 33 weeks. It was found that the placenta was half dead and contained blood clots. What dangers or possible after effects can. Be caused to the baby? What about future pregnancies if there might be a blood clotting disorder.

Hi
I understood concern, I think your daughter might had condition like abruptio placenta. Actually regarding future pregnanacy its nothing to worry ,but she should be very cautious .she should follow this steps
1.ideally 18 month gap keep before planning for next pregnanacy.
2Folic acid supllementation before pregnaancy
3 start T aspirin 75 mg from 3rd month onwards in next pregnanacy
4 Regular BP check up in next pregnaancy because possibilty of increasing BP in next pregnanacy if she had clotting problems this time
Regarding baby there is a possibility of premature delivry
Thanks
