Can Operation To Cure Glaucoma Cause Blurriness In An Eye In Which Simbrinza Is Also Used?

I use Simbrinza in my left eye for the past month. I have glaucoma and just had a procedure down to both eyes to open up my narrow channels. I have been experiencing blurring in the left eye. I wanted to know if you think the blurriness is from the Simbrinza or from the JAG procedure which was done in both eyes. My eye doctor told me to discontinue using the drops to see if the blurriness goes away. He said it wasn t from the procedure because he made the hole in the upper part of the iris under my eyelid. Also, if it is from the drop how long will it take for the bluriness to go away.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are suffering from glaucoma for which you were on medical treatment by simbrinza eye drops and recently have undergone surgery most probably trabeculectomy.
The blurring vision can be induced by surgery because of surgery related inflammation. It will improve with treatment as the inflammation decreases.
The need to stop simbrinza eye drops depends on the pressure reduction achieved by the surgery.

Thank you
