Hi anne..you need a hormonal evaluation to look for the cause of your heavy menses and then amenorrhoea (no menses for such long)..first get a urine pregnancy test done by self at home to rule out the possibility of pregnancy , because if by any chance its positive, a transvaginal ultrasound would be the first step and further management will depend on the site and viability of your pregnancy..
But if negative, ( more probable) get a serum TSH,serum prolactin, an ultrasound lower abdomen to look for any fibroid, cysts etc..alongwith a gynec examination...and start taking 21 day pills or Ormefen to regularise your bleeding ( on prescription) alongwith syrup evecare or syp menoreg, keep menstrual charting..simultaneously take calcium tabs and vit d sachet to relieve your back pain..and follow up regularly under a gynecologist..
