Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Nausea And Lower Back Pain

Hello. I am experiencing many pregnancy symptoms. Fatigue, nausea, sore nipples, lower back pain. Went to ER and got a negative blood test for pregnancy but a positive for a UTI. I am on cd 25 and 10dpo. Hpt negative as well. Had unprotected sex on day of ovulation and several days before and after. Can the symptoms of a UTI be confused for pregnancy symptoms? I have no burning when urinating. I am 3 days before menstrual cycle on a 28 day cycle.

Hello,

The UTI symptoms can't be confused with pregnancy symptoms. The UTI come out in urine tests while about pregnancy if the blood test is negative then you are not pregnant because it is highly sensitive and specific. Also you are not on delay so you may have your period soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
