Can Intercourse Cause Vagina To Swell? Had Surgery For Endometriosis. Why Is Period Irregular?

What can cause intercourse to feel different for a woman? it s not painful. it feels like the inside of the vagina is swollen. 2 years ago i had surgery for endometriosis . i took 3 shots of depo lupron. i started having my cycle again but since november 2011 it has been irregular (bout every 3 months). my last cycle was in april 2012. i am not currently on any kind of birth control .

yes mam, sexual activity especially initial one can cause swelling of vagina especially in patients who have had many cycles of progesterone which can soften the mucosal lining of genitals.
if still the pain during sex persoists get examined by a gynecologist because it can be due to a partial vaginal septum also.
