Can I Use The Pill For Contraception?

hi, i am using trigestrel pills as contraceptives. I missed the first pill on the pack (brown) but contiuned with the routine as normal. i had unsafe sex three days after that. Can i use one of the white pills on the pack as an emergency contraception?

Hello,

If you have been on the Trigestrel pill for at least 2 weeks after the missed pill, then you are protected. Otherwise, you will need to take emergency contraceptive like I-ill, plan B etc. Taking the white pill from the Trigestrel packet will not act as an emergency contraceptive.
