Can Delay In Taking Pill Result In Pregnancy?
hi docter i want to ask im on birth control pill yasmin and this month i have had alot of wight thick discharge and then today i lifted a gas bottle very heavy n went to sleep when i woke up i found sum brown spotting. i am 23 years old n this is the 21st day in my cycle. my period is evry 29 days exactly.just wanto know if its any thing to worry about or could i be pregnant.aswell i forgot to take the second pill of the cycle till very late cud tHAT EFFECT ON PREGNANACY ??

First of all, missing a single pill when under birth control pill schedule generally does not cause failure of the process. However, we do advise barrier method for the next 7 days of the missing dose though. Anyways, possibility of pregnancy can be ruled out only by a pregnancy test or occurrence of menstruation. Also, white discharge and spotting are nonspecific and may even be normal.So I would suggest you to wait and watch, though chances of pregnancy is unlikely.
