Can Cold Weather Cause Lobar Pneumonia For Short Durations?

MALE 27 height 181 weight 88 kg . I contracted lumbar pneumonia back in august and the pain in the upper left part of chest was in pain but over the months the pain has lessened and is reoccurring. my last checkup since my disease was early October with the x-ray clearing me of anything . now thought with the cold weather it is back for short periods but is more an irritation now in that general area.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Left Upper Chest Bronchitis with old history of Lobar pneumonia is expected with recurrence.
Possibility of the Recurring infection is there,as you don't seem to check the old attack with sputum AFB,which is a must; especially when you had earlier lobar pneumonia in Left upper Chest causing pain.

IF the pain has occurred lately or is expected due to cold season,possibility can not be ruled out as the nature of treatment seems to be antibiotic cover and not anti-TB treatment at that time.
With this background chances of your getting recurrent bronchitis in left upper chest with or without Left upper Lobar pneumonia is very high and needs to be kept in mind this cold season.
