Thanks for the query.
Yes, sometimes uterine infection can lead to postmenopausal bleeding.
Other causes are :
- Endometrial atrophy
-Endometrial thickening, neoplasia etc
-Cervical causes
- Vaginal dryness etc.

Possibly by examination and biopsy, the cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
