Can Wellbutrin And Ambien Be Taken At The Same Time?
Hi, i am a nurse, and i am always nervous about med interactions. i have spoken to my doc already about whether or not i should take my ambien since i am taking welbutrin xl now. she has given me the ok to do this. however, i want to know if i can take them at the same time or within close proximity

I can understand your concern. Wellbutrin is a serotonergic antidepressant drug. Ambien is Zolpidem and the drug is a sleep drug belonging to Z-drugs class. Both drugs have different mechanisms of action. There is no contradiction in taking both these drugs together. You can take the medicines together in evening without any fear as per your prescription.
