Can Vertin Be Taken For Relief From Giddiness And Ear Problem?

to day morning onwards my wife 62 years of age is having giddiness and she is not in a position to stand up from bed.she had vertigo problem 5 years back .she is also having ear problem and feeling some air blowing sound occasionally. whether she can take vertin mg8 for getting relief.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if Vertin be taken for relief from giddiness and ear problem. Well Vertin is an antihistamine that is used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness. It may also be used to reduce dizziness and loss of balance caused by inner ear problems. But its very important to find out exact cause . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan, rotatory chair test and examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic ( as you already taking ) , antibiotics like gentamycin along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend vestibular therapy .
