Can UTI Affect The Beta HCG Test?

Can I ask u about the result of may PT test last january 14 its 2 days before my menstruation is positive.And in january 21, the result of blood test is positive also. The same day january 21, I go for the vaginal ultrasound and the ob gyne told me that there is no bab. They ask me to beta hcg this january 28, and the result is 87.51 what this it means????my LMP was January 16 to 21..And now I take a PT test at home and its clear negative. I know that I have a UTI is this affect the beta HCG test.please giv me a reply doc.

UTI affects home pregnancy test due contamination of urine sample with infected urine/ container/ faulty collection of urine, But it does not affect blood HCG test ,
Your quantitative blood HCG report on 28th Jan( that is around- 20th to 24th day of conception) shows 87.51 mlu- which is lesser for the period of conception( which should be minimum 500 - 2000 mlu ). This indicates a doubtful pregnancy/ blighted ovum.
This explains -ve home pregnancy test.
