Can Temporal Lobe Damage Cause Epilepsy?

i have epilepsy and i was born with it so my mother says. she said i wasnt breathing when i was born and that caused temperol lobe damage...is it related( no epilepsy history in my family) i had an mri lastnight and the tech said he needed to look over the last scan again..is that typically a good thing or a bad thing?also i had my eyes checked and the pressure is up behind them. i told my optomatrist that i could feel the pressure but he said thats not the pressure they look for? what could it be? my blood pressure is normal i have it checked regularly...thank you for taking the time to answer

I really appreciate your concern and this could be grand mal seizure and this is nothing to take any thing with the incidence of temporal lobe injury, if the MRI is unremarkable then this ruled out the cerebral pathology, take care and have a nice day.
