Can Neurocercosis Be Cured Totally?

my son is on Oxetol 450,treatment for Neurocercosis since last two years, now since a year he do not have fits problem, for how much period he will have to take such tablets? when he will be cured 100%? Are there any Side effects of the Drug? He is suffering from Allergic cold ,sneezing? Is it side-effects of the drugs? Please answer me.

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Neurocysticercosis cannot be totally cure.Hope you have completed the course of treatment (albendazole) previously.Oxetol controls your fits and has to be taken as long as your child has the episode.Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, headache, trouble sleeping, acne, dry mouth, or constipation.Sneezing is not caused by Oxetol but if it is related with redness troublesome I were to examine before changing the drug.Hope this answers your query.
