Can I Stop Insulin And Get Cured Of Type 2 Diabetes By Following A Diet?

I was recently diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic due to the fact that my pancreas does not produce sufficient insulin. I am slender at 108 lbs and the pills did not work on me. I am forced to go on insulin. Can my diabetes stop if I follow the diet and hopefully get off of insulin?

Hello,

It is little difficult to manage lean diabetics due to high insulin resistance.
I would advice my patient to follow diet and exercise on a regular basis. This will help to keep insulin resistance low. This will enhance the efficiency of insulin and keep the blood sugar under control.
So diet, exercise and insulin should be followed and not stopped.
