Can I Get Pregnent With PCOD On Both Ovaries ?

Hi, I am 29 yrs old. I was recently diagnosed with PCOD on both ovaries. Me and my husband have been ttc for 1 1/2 yrs. I already had a miscarriage last year and only then i was diagnosed with throid problems. Desperate to get pregnant. What will be your advice for me? How to check if my ovulation and egg release is happening properly so that i can get pregnant. Thanks.

Hi, I have gone through your question.Conception in PCOS is difficult and you need to get appropriate treatment for infertility in this case. The management has to be done stepwise, the next step should be done when the previous step fails:
1. Ovulation induction with drugs
2. Intrauterine insemination
3. In vitro fertilization
I would suggest you to consult an infertility specialist so that you and your husband can be properly investigated and get treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti verma
