Hello,
Thanks for the query,
I understand your problem
Let me tell you that If the CT scan shows calcium in the brain, you continue to do MRI as advised by your doctor. There e is a possibility that you may be having
parathyroid problem and the whole symptoms that you have could be related to disorder of
calcium metabolism and it is treatable and you will improve. Patients with dystonia generally require neurological evaluation and exact classification of dystonia so that treatment becomes easy. Medications that are used to treat are
Tetrabenazine, clonazepam,
trihexyphenidyl, botulinum toxin etc. Which medicine is to be used will depend upon the classification of dystonia.
Please consult a local
neurologist who will guide you through clinical evaluation and investigations and treatment
Best wishes
