Burning Sensation In Heart With Food Intake. All Tests Normal. Advised To Quit Alcohol And Change In Diet Plans. Advice

Hello doc, I am having burning like sensation in my heart from last 3 days. This burning sensation continues while I ate or drink anything ( except water). Last weak I went for whole body check up. My cholesterol level was 263, triglyceride was 202, LDL was 218, cholestrol/hdl ratio was 6.4, sgot was 48, sgpt was 105, alkaline phosphate was 135, uric acid was 7.5 and esr 1 hr was 17. Other than these things everything was normal. My x ray report, ecg report, echo report and ultra sound report was normal. Doctor adviced me to quit my alcohol and you will be fine they also told me to change my diet plan and exercise regularly
But doc what is this burning sensation on my chest. I am getting worried about all this stuff. Pl tell me what to do. My age is 27 years. I used to drink alcohol and I also used to smoke

Hi,
Your lipid profile, cholesterol and liver function test reports are not normal and do not take it easy.
as your EKG and other report regarding heart are normal, there is nothing cardiac.
It seems that you might be having gastritis and hyper acidity.
For this you have to quit alcohol and smoking.
This will aggravate your gastric problem.
Change your food habit and life style.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
You may take Omiprazole after consulting your doctor.
Ok and take care.
