Burning, Itching In Rectal Area, Pain On Passing Bowels. Using Prep H, Tux Pads. Treatment?

I am a 27 year old male and I have recently had serious burning and itching in my rectal area. I am a gay male and do engage in regular sexual activity with my partner, but have been unable to since this started. The worst seems to be when I have a bowl movement. I wipe well with both toilet paper and baby wipes, but it is not getting any better. I have even tried Prep H, Tux Pads, and Cortizone Cream. Not sure what to do now.

hi i had gone through your query and understand your concerns. i would come up with the possibility of HEMORRHOIDS may be the cause for your sufferings.

possible causes include;

-straining at with increased intra abdominal and haemorrhoidal venous pressures

other causes

-constipation
-diarrhoea
-portal hypertension
-prolonged sitting and standing

management include;

1.Prevention by lifestyle modification
Some simple lifestyle modifications can help one, prevent and even cure piles. A softer stool and regular bowel movements are its main goals. A softer stool makes emptying the bowels easier and lessens the pressure on hemorrhoids caused by straining.

2.Increasing fluid intake
Increasing fluid intake can help in reducing the hardness of the stools. Drinking six to eight glasses of fluid (not alcohol) results in softer, bulkier stools.

3.High-fiber diet
Good sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables and whole grains. In addition, a fiber supplement such as psyllium can be very helpful.

4.Do not hold the urge
Prevent holding the urge, as it can lead to irregular bowel movement and also hardening of the stools.

5.Regular exercise
Regular exercise, including walking, can be very effective in regulating your digestive system

I hope this is helpful for you, thank you
