Blocked Nose, Itchy Eyes, Sneeze Repeatedly, Used Nasivion, High Eosinophilia Count. Could This Be Allergies?
I have a blocked nose and itchy red/watery eyes. I also sneeze repeatedly. I wake up in the middle of the night with both nostrils blocked and find it very hard to get back to sleep again. If I use Nasivion I get immediate relief - but I am afraid to use it repeatedly. Could this be allergies? My Eosnophil count was high. How can I get rid of this problem?
Thanks for query on HCM. Your symptoms and high eosinophil count suggest some allergic episodes. You have to start anti allergic medicines like levocetrizine, fexofenedin. Nsaid with decongestant will be helpful to subside blockage of nostrils. Steam inhalation at bed time will be helpful. You will get recovery within 5 to 7 days. If it is recurrent than i would suggest to go for allergy test to find out any specific allergen so you can start prevention. Start exercise, yoga and deep breathing exercise after getting cure. Consult your physician for further guidance and proper medical management.
