yesterday when cleaning my ear with a q-tip there was fresh blood on the swab, I did not stick q-tip to far in or anything but I did it 2 times and there was fresh blood. my fiancée pored hydrogen peroxide n ear and I put cotton ball n it. this morning I woke up with severe pain and constant pain all day.... I put more hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol n ear and it felt like it didn't go into my ear as if it were being blocked by something.... it hurts real bad and im n tears what do I do?
Hi, Thanks for contacting HCM Your description suggests that you have the Q tip injury either to external auditory canal or Tympanic Membrane(TM), and after that you put Hydrogen peroxide means mistake (cleaning my ear with a q-tip ) and mistake( I put more hydrogen peroxide). Please consult the ENT specialist as early as possible.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Lohit K's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Since there was fresh blood while cleaning, there may be injury to skin in external ear and the blood might have clotted there. If you put H2O2 you should clean it or else dont block with cotton as they increase pressure inside and can lead to more roblem. Since today you have pain with blocked ear it should be examined and claened to clear if any debris or foreign body there and treat accordingly. You can take analgesic (NSAID) for now. Consult your ENT doctor for examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Lohit
