Bad Cramps, Large Piece Dark Red On Tampon Seen. Had Tuval, Not On Birth Controls. What Is It ?
hi!! I am 27 yrs old. I had a tubal in 2007 and am not on any birth control. my period is always on a different day of the month.. I just had a scary episode happen. I had bad cramps all day and felt like my insides were being ripped out..(started period today) I just went to the bathroom to change my tampon... something fell in the toilet... a large piece of something was on the tampon so I took it off to examine it. it looked like a 3inch long piece of liver... dark red. another piece the same length was in the toilet...what could this be??
hi Thanks for your query. It appears as if you had endometrial hyperplasia. In this condition, periods are irregular, and sometimes the lining of the uterus thickens, and when it is shed off, it appears like a fleshy piece of tissue. Other possibilities are pregnancy related complications like a miscarriage etc, which are rare, but not uncommon, after a tubal ligation. Please consult your doctor and have a pelvic ultrasound for confirmation. take care.
