Back pain, arm numbness and pins and needles, always tired. What to do?

Every morning when I wake up I have terrible back pain, it is even difficult to get out of bed, usually about a half hour after getting out of bed I am fine, my right arm also goes numb then feels like pins and needles many times through the day.
I am avoiding going to bed because I know the pain that will soon follow, so I am tired all the time.
What should I do?

Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you are having is likely to be due to a disc prolapse. An MRI scan of the back will help in confirmation. You can get some pain killers in combination with a muscle relaxant prescribed from your physician.

Hello and Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for writing to us. The symptoms that you are having are likely to be due to a nerve root compression . You need to get an MRI scan of the area done and consult a neurophysician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
