Back Pain, Arm Numbness And Pins And Needles, Always Tired. What To Do?

Every morning when I wake up I have terrible back pain, it is even difficult to get out of bed, usually about a half hour after getting out of bed I am fine, my right arm also goes numb then feels like pins and needles many times through the day.
I am avoiding going to bed because I know the pain that will soon follow, so I am tired all the time.
What should I do?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you are having is likely to be due to a disc prolapse. An MRI scan of the back will help in confirmation. You can get some pain killers in combination with a muscle relaxant prescribed from your physician.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
