Arthritis. Have A Knot On Thumb. What Are The Blisters There Now?

My 75 year old mothers thumb had a hard knot at the joint which she assumed was arthritis . Suddenly last week the knot in the thumb disappeared and the palm of the hand now has blisters and some up the left arm and she has severe aching pain in the arm which she says feels like it is in the bone. What could be causing this?

may be she has inflammation at shoulder capsule or cervical disc compress on nerve roots lead to this pain or tingling sensations.she must MAKE MRI CERVICAL AND SHOULDER .and then take physiotherapy session with medications
